How we collect, use and protect your information.
TLC Photography is a newborn, maternity and family photography business operated by Tracey, based in Rutherford in the Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia. This policy explains how we collect, use and look after your personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

We only collect information you choose to give us, and what is needed to run your session smoothly:
We never sell your personal information.
Your session photographs are personal to your family. We only share your images publicly — on our website, social media or in marketing — with your permission, which you can give or decline when booking and withdraw at any time by contacting us.
Your information is stored securely with trusted service providers we use to run the business — such as our booking and client management system, online gallery platform and payment processors. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you — just email [email protected].
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Christmas mini sessions — bookings, galleries, copyright and gift cards.
These terms apply to Christmas mini sessions and gift cards provided by TLC Photography (Rutherford, NSW). By booking a session or purchasing a gift card, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Christmas mini sessions are booked online for a set date and time, and the session fee (or deposit) shown at checkout is payable to secure your spot. Sessions run every 15 minutes on selected dates, so please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time. Arriving late may shorten your session, as we cannot run into the next family’s time slot.
Mini sessions run on selected dates with limited spots. If you can no longer make your time, you can reschedule to any other available Christmas mini session spot up to 24 hours before your session, and your deposit transfers to your new time. Rescheduling is subject to availability. For changes within 24 hours of your session, please contact us as soon as possible — and if your little one is unwell, let us know and we will work something out together.
Each Christmas mini session includes a 15 minute photo session in our Rutherford studio, with up to 6 people per session. You will receive your full gallery of professionally edited images through your private online web gallery within 14 days of the session. Editing style is at the photographer’s artistic discretion; unedited and RAW files are not provided.
TLC Photography retains copyright in all images. You receive a personal-use licence for your delivered photographs — you are welcome to print and share them with family and friends. Commercial use of the images requires our written permission. We will only use your images in our own marketing with your permission (see the Privacy Policy above).
Gift cards can be used toward any TLC Photography session. In line with Australian Consumer Law, gift cards are valid for at least 3 years from the date of purchase and are not redeemable for cash.
We take great care with every session. If we are unable to deliver your session due to circumstances on our side, you will be offered a reschedule or a full refund of everything you have paid. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your session. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — including consumer guarantees — always apply.
